Being There: Anne Wagner in the Berkeley Years

In April, the History of Art department at Berkeley held a symposium: Being There: Anne Wagner in the Berkeley Years.

Anne Wagner has been a professor in the Department of History of Art at the University of California, Berkeley since 1988. In September, she will take up the newly created position of Henry Moore Foundation Research Curator at Tate Britain. During this event, many of her former students—who are now themselves professors and curators–will reflect upon her teaching and her earlier writing, and Anne will discuss her work with Kaja Silverman.

Speakers included Sarah Hamill, Elise Archias, Bibi Obler, Huey Copeland, Linda Kim, Julian Myers, Sarah Evans, Julia Bryan-Wilson, Matthew Jesse Jackson, Eve Meltzer, Sabine Kriebel, Sharon Corwin, Amy Lyford, Richard Meyer, and Robin Greeley.
