Bruno Serralongue

This summer, JRP Ringier published Bruno Serralongueedited by Clément Dirié, and including a discussion with Marta Gili and Dirk Snauwaert and text by Carles Guerra (cf. Les Presses du Réel).

“Bruno Serralongue. Feux de camp” closed September 5th at the Jeu de Paume (see a brief interview and review by Aran Cravey). An exhibition will also be on view at La Virreina in Barcelona. An exhibition the previous spring at WIELS, Brussels, was accompanied by several events, including a screening and discussion with Jordi Vidal and Stéphane Goxe, a debate among Guerra (Barcelona), Kasia Ruchel-Stockmans (Louvain), Alexander Streitberger (Louvain) and Dirk Snauwaert (Brussels), and a lecture by Catherine Mayeur (Brussels).

In 2007, Les Presses du Réel published Serralongue’s La Otra, with text by Vidal, Joerg Bader and Serralongue (Worldcat), and in 2002, a monograph with contributions from Pascal Beausse, Eric Troncy, and Alexis Vaillant to accompany shows in Paris, Tours and Dijon (Worldcat). In 2003, Actes Sud published a book with text by Nicolas Bourriaud (Worldcat). See also Air de Paris (many PDFs online).
