Creative Time Summit: Revolutions in Public Practice

The 2010 Creative Time Summit, Revolutions in Public Practice, is organized by Nato Thompson and takes place at Cooper Union on October 9th and 10th.

Participants include Anton Vidokle, Julia Bryan-Wilson, Sofía Hernandez Chong Cuy, Saskia Bos, Chto delat/What is to be done?, Otabenga Jones & Associates, Chus Martínez, Phil Collins, Trevor Paglen, Claire Doherty, Andrea Fraser, Regina José Galindo, and Eyal Weizman.

Stated elements of the agenda include “[H]ow their work engages pressing issues affecting our world”; “[P]ractices and methodologies that engage with the canvas of everyday life”; “[P]olitical implications of socially engaged art”; and “[O]pportunities for new coalitions and sympathetic affinities.”
