In 2006 the Guggenheim showed David Smith: A Centennial; reviews by Mark Stevens, Karen Wilkin, Holland Cotter, and Alex Potts (Amazon). Tate Modern held a symposium with talks by Anne Wagner, Potts, David Anfam, and Jeremy Lewison.
