Guillermo Kuitca: Everything

Guillermo Kuitca: Everything—Paintings and Works on Paper, 1980–2008 opens on October 21st at the Hirshhorn in Washington, D.C. It was previously at the Miami Art Museum, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, and Walker Art Center. A catalog with contributions from Douglas Dreishpoon, Andreas Huyssen, Terence Riley, Olga Viso and Graciela Speranza was published last year by Scala (DAP, Amazon). Interviews with Charlotte Burns and Mary Abbe.

Another exhibition, Paintings 2008-2010 & Le Sacre 1992 (through November 8th) opened Sperone Westwater’s new gallery space on the Bowery (review by Ken Johnson).

Plates No. 01-24, with text by Robert Storr, was published in 2008 by Steidl (DAP). Das Lied von der Erde was at Daros Exhibitions in Zurich in 2006-07. The catalog was published by Hatje Cantz; a conversation with Hans-Michael Herzog is online at Sperone (also catalogs, reviews and essays). Theatre Collages (Scalo, 2005; texts by Stephen Barlow and Karen Wright) is listed online at Hauser & Wirth.
