In January, Sternberg Press published Isabelle Graw, High Price: Art Between the Market and Celebrity Culture. (Several sample pages are online.)
The Goethe-Institut in New York hosted a book launch the same month, reported on by Michael Wilson for Artforum.com’s “Diary,” while Julian Stallabrass reviewed the book for the summer 2010 issue of Artforum (text not online). Anastasiya Osipova and Zac Dempster proposed a course on the book for The Public School, New York. Previously, Graw participated in an Artforum roundtable on “Art and its markets.”
