Ugo Rondinone

Ugo Rondinone: The Night of Lead recently closed at the Aargauer Kunsthaus, having traveled from MUSAC in León. The catalog (JRP Ringier) includes contributions from Klaus Biesenbach, Agustín Pérez Rubio, Beatrix Ruf and Madeleine Schuppli.

In 2007, the Palais de Tokyo organized The Third Mind: Carte Blanche à Ugo Rondinone (see videos, Palais 4 [2007], SwissInfo.ch, and Le Figaro).

Ugo Rondinone — zero built a nest in my navel (Whitechapel Gallery, 2006) was reviewed by Martin Herbert for Artforum, where Barry Schwabsky reviewed his solo New York debut and Elizabeth Janus published “Openings: Ugo Rondinone” in 1998. In the same year, Francesco Bonami, Jan Verwoert and Laura Hoptman wrote on Rondinone for Parkett 52. Padraig Timoney (1998), April Lamm (2002) and Alessandro Rabottini (2009) reviewed the artist for Frieze .
