Wangechi Mutu

Wangechi Mutu: My Dirty Little Heaven was in the spring at the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, where she won Deutsche Bank’s “Artist of the Year” award (press). That show has traveled to WIELS, Brussels, with a September 8th lecture by Elvan Zabunyan: “Contradicting the stereotype, W. Mutu’s work as a ground for contemporary historicity.”
